In a significant development, Brig. Gen. S.O Solomon, the CMD of Military Hospital Port Harcourt, visited the Hon Commissioner for Health, Dr Adaeze Ureh to enhance collaboration in tackling public health challenges and planned mass burial for unclaimed corpses in the Military Hospital Port Harcourt mortuary. The visit aimed to foster stronger partnerships in disease surveillance, emergency response, and resource sharing to improve health outcomes for communities in Rivers State. In his remarks, the General stated the significance of the hospital in attending more to civilian population compared to military population. This initiative highlights the commitment of both institutions to strengthening health security and preparedness.
